Therapy

Group therapy is a space where people come together to support one another and grow through shared experience. Unlike individual therapy, which is one-on-one, group therapy includes a small number of participants who meet regularly with a therapist to explore common struggles. Whether you’re working through anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or low self-esteem, group therapy offers a powerful reminder that you’re not alone—and that shared healing can be just as impactful as individual work.

For many people, group therapy is also a more affordable way to access support. While individual therapy often costs around $100 per session, group sessions are typically closer to $40. That makes it easier to stay consistent with your mental health care, especially if you're managing a budget or hoping to attend therapy over a longer period of time.

It’s completely normal to feel unsure about opening up in a group at first. Many people worry they won’t know what to say or that others will judge them. But most find that those fears fade quickly. There’s something powerful about being with people who truly understand—who listen without trying to fix you, because they’ve been through something similar. Group therapy can help you feel connected, less isolated, and more understood.

As the therapist, my job is to create and maintain a safe, respectful space. I guide the conversation, help everyone feel heard, and make sure the group stays supportive and constructive. You won’t ever be pushed to share more than you’re ready for, and you’ll always have control over what you choose to say.
